Most of my web based projects can be seen on the right hand side.
However, I realise that although projects are my hobby, a portfolio of work I've done and some sample pages might be an useful to someone who is assessing my skills.
And so this page was born.

La Cortanela
This was requested by a couple who was looking to promote their French bed and breakfast. The site was a simple translation from their already existing flier to a webpage format. Keeping the style, colours and text almost identical to what they had created, I also added relevant links to key word in the text, giving better context.
This was a simple site, done pro bono (although I did receive an Amazon voucher from them :) ) as it took only a few hours to create.

Claire Magowan
For some interesting experience I linked together Claire's multiple account using their open APIs. This gave her a single page from which she could view/show off her latest updates. This page tied together her Twitter, Flickr, Last.fm and Blogger accounts. Each were updated dynamically with AJAX.
Additionally, due to privacy concerns, her email address is cleverly hidden using the free reCaptcha service and revealed once the captcha has been successfully entered.
Finally, accessibility guidelines have been followed, allowing the site to be accessible by all. This has been validated using the WAVE validation system.
